[Action/ Voice]
Running through the door, she immediately realized that something wasn’t right. This was certainly not the parking lot that was supposed to be here. Nor did the jail, or any jail for that matter, ever have a fountain right outside it or tall apartment buildings around it.
There was no way she could have come through the wrong door. As Vicki turned around to look for said door, she was mildly surprised to see it not there. Well that's just great. Wonderful escape Vicki. She had to admit though, not having a door there meant that the guards likely couldn't find her and that in itself wasn't such a bad thing.
The only bad thing now was that she had no idea where she was and she really had to find a phone or somewhere she could contact Mike and Henry from.
Urgency was key, but if she collapsed on the way to a phone, she might just end up back where she came from. Vicki sat down on the edge carefully, trying to avoid having anything pressing against her bruises and only succeeded in knocking something to the ground. A something that looked much like some sort of odd phone. It looked familiar, very familiar but she couldn't remember ever seeing one in Toronto. Almost by instinct she turned it on. She knew that if it worked, maybe she could contact Mike and Henry.
“Hello? Can anyone hear me?....”
“Mike?...Henry?”
(NOTE: TO ANYONE KNOWING HER CANON. My book is currently missing so I'm doing this from memory and if anything is really off please tell me so I can correct it asap!)
(OOC: Vicki's is back in your City! She's currently bruised up and tired, having spent the last little bit in jail due to a false booking and crazy mummy. She would likely be grateful for any help and might remember you if she knew you before. Her memory is a bit fuzzy so just remind her if she doesn't remember right away.)
(As the camera focuses, one can notice right away that something is off about Vicki. She is looking very pale and tired with a couple of red spots on the arm that adjusts the camera.)
Damn bloodsuckers….not a dog..
Does anyone know how to get rid of ticks?
They seem to have an annoying attraction to me and I don’t see this ending well if they continue coming back to me. I’ve killed all I’ve pulled off but I could swear I saw some around the roomon..
Not feeling so well though today…staying on the couch.
( OOC: )EDIT: Not sure about the move anymore so this weekend might be crazy/ irritating. Slow responses due to library internet shutting down randomly and fact that I'm technically on full hiatus due to possible move. I don't find out about moving until tonight so hopefully Sunday there will be more info. .
[Action/ Video]
(The video clicks on in night vision and a blonde haired woman is visible, standing below the platform the camera is perched on.)
"Mike?...Henry?.."
"This isn’t funny you know! Where the hell did you guys disappear to?”
When no one responds to her initial call, Vicki starts looking at her surroundings and stops when she realizes that all she can see is the fathomless darkness all around. She knew this was a worst case scenario and sincerely hoped that the boys would be just around the corner. With a voice tinged with worry she tried calling out again, this time desperately hoping that she wasn’t really alone in the dark.
“Mike! Henry! ….Anyone?”
Cursing under her breath, she knew that they would never leave her alone in the dark like this. As long as she had her flashlight she would be fine though.
Grasping for her purse, Vicki quickly realized that her flashlight, along with her purse, was going to be of no help in the car where she had left them earlier. Annoyed at herself for leaving them there she stood there for a moment longer before deciding on a plan of action. Gritting her teeth and putting her pride aside, she resorted to the only thing she could think of to do in this case. Putting her hands out in front of her, she started taking slow steps in a direction. Since she couldn’t see, she figured she might as well try to feel her way to something, preferably a wall or chair or anything that would give her something to hold onto.
Luckily, her efforts were rewarded a few steps later when she felt something solid at her fingertips. Thankful that she had found something but annoyed at how vulnerable she still was, Vicki sat down with her back against the wall. She hated feeling vulnerable and yet here in the dark with no one around, there was nothing else she could do but wait for help.
(Video feed cuts out as the camera tips over from its perch above Vicki’s head.)
